Who We Are

After Midnight Tavern is a trade name (DBA) of After Midnight Makers LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. All references to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to After Midnight Makers LLC. What We Collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Email address (for order confirmation and shipping updates)
  • Phone number (for shipping carrier notifications)
  • Shipping address (to deliver your order)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card number)

We also collect anonymous usage data via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no personal tracking).

How We Use It

  • Process and fulfill your order
  • Send order confirmation and shipping notification emails
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve our products and website

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill your order (e.g., shipping carriers).

Payment Security

All payments are processed through Stripe. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

Data Retention

We retain order records indefinitely for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at orders@aftermidnighttavern.com.

Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Specifically:

  • Analytics — We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and GDPR/CCPA-compliant by design. No personal data, no cross-site tracking.
  • Cart — Your cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) and are never sent to third parties.
  • Admin session — Site administrators have a signed, HttpOnly session cookie used solely to keep them logged in. This cookie is exempt from consent requirements as a strictly-necessary functional cookie.
  • Stripe Checkout — When you click "Checkout", you are redirected to Stripe's domain (checkout.stripe.com), where Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and session continuity. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Because we don't set tracking cookies, no consent banner is required under GDPR/ePrivacy or CCPA. You can clear local storage and cookies for our site at any time without affecting your account or order history.

Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you can request that we:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccuracies in that information
  • Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements for order and tax records)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

Email orders@aftermidnighttavern.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected and whether we sell or share it (we do not). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Age Restriction

Our products are intended for adult buyers. By placing an order you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
